Judicial system imperiled Several legislators are promoting a joint resolution to change dramatically—for the worse—a judicial system that has served Arkansas justly and fairly for several decades. For the 30-plus years that I have practiced in state and federal courts, the rules of practice, pleading and proper behavior have been established and enforced by the Arkansas Supreme Court, our highest judicial body and authority.
