Wilbur Mills book author speaks at Clinton School

The author of a book on Arkansas congressman Wilbur Mills is to speak at the Clinton School of Public Service.
Kay Goss was an associate director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency under then-President Bill Clinton. She’s to speak at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Sturgis Hall on the Clinton School campus near downtown Little Rock.
Mills represented Arkansas in the House from 1939 through 1977 and was chairman of the powerful Ways and Means Committee.
The Democrat played key roles in numerous pieces of legislation that affected Medicare, tax reform, highway financing and Social Security.
When she was in Arkansas, Goss was a gubernatorial aide to Clinton for 10 years.
