Officials with the North Little Rock Police Department announced Friday that traffic along the Main Street viaduct will be restricted to one lane this weekend.
A news release states that all but one lane on the bridge will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday through late Sunday night while crews repair a pavement failure on a bridge joint.
The repair was to take place the weekend of March 1, but the work was delayed because temperatures were too low for the concrete to properly set.

NLR city officials need to replace this structure. It has been there over 60 years and served its purpose well. But it is time to replace it with a modern bridge that would serve as anohter gateway to NLR. A huge bond issue that is going to cost the taxpayers an arm and a leg was passed to modernize the schools. Now lets modernize something that the taxpayers can some real benefit from before the thing is condemned or crashes.
Our property taxes just went up, we need to get something out it other than talk and patchwork.
