NLRPD makes arrest in Tuesday murder

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left one man dead in North Little Rock.
Officers took Preston R. Robinson, 26, into custody at 2:20 p.m. Friday for his involvement in the shooting at 6301 Camp Robinson Road on March 5, a news release from the North Little Rock Police Department states.
When officers arrived at the address about 5:24 p.m. Tuesday, they found Tony Dwight Pearson, 18, lying in a parking lot with at least one gunshot wound. Pearson died later that day.
Robinson was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a certain person. He is currently being held without bond at the Pulaski County jail.
