We are drawn to the heritage of others, Linda S. Haymes writes in Tuesday’s Style section. Sushi bars, Indian fare, Italian restaurants, Mexican grocers. And, of course, Irish pubs.
It seems Irish pubs have grown in popularity. In central Arkansas alone, three have sprung up like shamrocks since 2007 — Cregeen’s Irish Pub in North Little Rock, Dugan’s Pub in downtown Little Rock and Hibernia Irish Tavern in west Little Rock. Meanwhile, in Northwest Arkansas, Kelts Pub in Altus has endured 18 years.

We survey four Arkansas pubs in preparation for St. Patrick’s Day in Tuesday's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
