ConAgra Foods is breaking ground on a new facility in Russellville on Friday.

Originally announced in September, the food giant's construction of the new expanded facility will begin at 10 a.m. at 3100 E. Main St. in Russellville, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission announced Thursday in a news release.

The release states that ConAgra Foods expects an investment of $100 million in the new facility and and the addition of more than 80 new jobs. The expansion comes after ConAgra acquired Bertolli and P.F. Chang's Home Menu frozen-meal business, and the company says the facility will serve those aspects of the business.
