Community Correction Center inmate in Pine Bluff dies

PINE BLUFF — The Arkansas Department of Community Correction says an inmate at the Southeast Community Correction Center in Pine Bluff has died.
Department spokesman Rhonda Sharp says Francis Tanner, 54, died Friday of what is believed to be natural causes. Sharp says Tanner's body will be sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
Sharp says Tanner was sent to the community center after being convicted of forgery and burglary in Ouachita County.
