Maintenance work on the Kerr Road overpass will require Interstate 40 lane closures next week in Lonoke County, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said Friday.

The work will require the eastbound, inside lane of I-40 to be closed between mile marker 163, which is east of Galloway, and mile marker 165, at Kerr. Both are west of Lonoke.

The closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, highway officials said.
