A Little Rock man is accused of hitting his 64-year-old mother in the face with a handgun during an argument over insurance.
Police records show Terrance Cromwell, 39, was arrested Thursday on a second-degree battery warrant. He remained in the Pulaski County jail Friday morning.
According to the report, Cromwell on Saturday was involved in an "altercation" with his mother, during which he hit her in the face with the handgun.
An initial report filed in the incident indicates the woman suffered only minor injuries and that the assault occurred during an argument over the insurance not being paid.
Cromwell left the scene before officers arrived and was not arrested until Thursday.
Cromwell made an initial appearance by video Friday morning in Little Rock District Court, where a judge set his bail at $75,000 and ordered him not to have contact with his mother if released.

My mother would have killed me if I had done something like that. Beside, who hits either one of your parents.
