Three Yell County escapees recaptured

Three inmates who escaped from the Yell County jail Sunday afternoon have been recaptured, authorities said Monday.
Yell County sheriff's office Capt. John Foster said Seth Chowning and Bretty Cooksey were "forcefully removed" from a house a couple blocks from the Dardanelle jail several hours after they escaped. The third, Jacqueline Stobaugh, was found about midnight in a shed in the same area.
Foster said Cooksey and Chowning overpowered a jailer as they came in from the exercise yard, took his keys and locked him in a cell. They then released Stobaugh from a different part of the jail and the three of them were able to open an exterior door.
Stobaugh and Chowning were facing robbery and battery charges, Foster said. It wasn't clear why Cooksey was being held.
All three suspects have been lodged in a different jail and will face escape and other new charges, Foster said.
