Pedestrian in Sebastian County hit by two vehicles, killed

Arkansas State Police say a Fort Smith man is dead after being struck by two vehicles on Interstate 540 in Sebastian County on Saturday morning.
Police say Joshua Winkler, 23, walked across the northbound lane, crossed a concrete barrier and was attempting to cross the southbound lane when he was hit by two vehicles.
The police report states the incident occurred around 12:55 a.m. Saturday, south of the Sebastian County I-540 river bridge.
According to preliminary figures, Winkler is the 94th fatality on Arkansas roads this year.
