Easter, in addition to its spiritual significance, is also a time to celebrate the newness of the season.

Food editor Kelly Brant put together an Easter menu — green onion buttermilk biscuits, creamed corn, pea salad, spiced glazed ham and banana pudding cupcakes — equally adept for any springtime celebration featuring the flavors of the season.
