6 REEL Reel Arkansas, a new nonprofit group, will hold the 2013 Reel Women Festival, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday at the Royal Theatre, 111 S. Market St., Benton, featuring 13 shorts and one full-length feature each from Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi. Festival highlights include Sarah Jones’ Arkansas-made John Wayne’s Bed, inspired by the life story of Allen Schmidt, an Arkansas outdoorsman with Lou Gehrig’s disease, and G.B. Shannon’s Fresh Skweezed, shot in Tennessee, about a street-smart little girl determined to outwit the neighborhood bully. All the directors presenting films at the festival will take
