A Clarkridge woman died Saturday after a one-vehicle collision in Baxter County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality accident report.
Just before noon Saturday, Charlotte Fredericks, 85, was driving north on Arkansas 201, 4 miles north of Mountain Home, in a 1999 Honda Civic when she began negotiating a curve, state police said. Fredericks lost control of the car and spun around before veering off the roadway, state police said.
Fredericks then struck a tree on the car’s passenger side, state police said.
