Man seriously injured in rollover on Colonel Glenn in Little Rock

A man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon when his vehicle overturned multiple times on Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock.

Phillip Hill, 18, failed to negotiate a westbound turn onto Colonel Glenn Road as he exited from Interstate 430 South shortly before 1 p.m., Little Rock Police Sgt. Cassandra Davis said. Hill's white Chevrolet sport utility vehicle flipped multiple times, ejecting him before coming to rest in the median, Davis said.

Hill was transported to a local hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to Davis.

Northbound traffic on Colonel Glenn was rerouted for a short time while crews cleared the scene, but southbound traffic was unaffected.

Correction: The original story erroneously indicated that Hill was northbound on I-430, and his vehicle came to rest under the overpass. Hill was southbound before exiting onto Colonel Glenn, and his vehicle came to rest in the median west of the overpass.
