2 TOAD Hopping critters will invade downtown Conway at the annual Toad Suck Daze festival, Friday-Sunday. This year’s music performers include Drake White, Kip Moore, Erin Enderlin and Diamond Rio. 3 TACOS/TURKISH The Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, hosts a day of food, music and family activities with the Cinco de Mayo celebration, noon-8 p.m. Saturday. Visitors can take salsa lessons, listen to mariachi bands, play games and taste homemade Mexican and Central American cuisine. Get another taste of culture as Raindrop Turkish House presents the Turkish Food Festival, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, with folk dances, arts and crafts, music and plenty of Turkish food. The house is at 1501 Market St., Little Rock, and admission is free. Call (501) 223-2155.

4 TAILS Help protect Arkansas’ past by dining on crawfish and shrimp. The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas presents its annual Preservation Crustaceans event, 5:30-9 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Center, 6800 Camp Robinson Road, North Little Rock. 5 TOMATOES Sort through booths full of peaches, beans, peas, corn, greens, tomatoes and all the other homegrown edibles Arkansas has to offer as the Little Rock Farmers Market opens for a new season. Saturday is opening weekend and mascot Dean the Bean will make an appearance. This year, the market continues to offer Veggie Valet service, so you won’t have to drag your purchases around with you while you shop. 6 TENTH The River City Men’s Chorus will close out its 2012-13 season with “A Spring Awakening: The Music of Joseph M. Martin,” at 3 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N. Mississippi St. in Little Rock. The all-Martin program will include the premiere of his E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One), which the chorus commissioned to mark its 10th anniversary. David Glaze conducts. 7 TIMBRE And speaking of men’s choruses, barbershop ensemble Diamond State Chorus will offer up its 40th annual show at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Argenta Community Theatre, 405 Main St., North Little Rock. Terry Mercing conducts a program of traditional American songs, spirituals, ballads and a bit of doo-wop. Central Arkansas men’s barbershop quartets Just in Time and Sound Fraternity and women’s quartet Roundelay will also perform. Tickets are $15, $12.50 for students and adults 60 and older. 8 TRICKERY The unraveling secrets of his past threaten the personal and professional life of a Wall Street powerhouse in The Paris Letter by Jon Robin Baitz, opening Friday at The Weekend Theater, West Seventh and Chester streets, Little Rock. 9 TRADITIONAL The North Little Rock Community Concert Band, with guests the Pine Bluff Community Band, will present the season’s first outdoor concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the Lakewood Village amphitheater on McCain Boulevard between North Hills Boulevard and McCain Mall, North Little Rock. As part of a program titled “With a Little Help From Our Friends,” each band will perform and then join for a medley of classic American gospel tunes, Carmen Dragon’s arrangement of “America the Beautiful” and J.P.
