Buzzy and new: Little Rock and North Little Rock will play host to a bevy of directors, actors and fans as the Little Rock Film Festival kicks off Wednesday and runs through May 19 at various locations. Screenings, interviews and parties are all on this year’s agenda. Special events include a family screening of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules with a Q&A session with the actors and producer, and a special meet-and-greet autograph session at the Little Rock Zoo. Fuzzy and blue: Cute, furry, child-inappropriate puppets will transform The Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s stage for Avenue Q, June 5-30. The irreverent, R-rated, Tony-winning musical tells the tale of puppets and humans trying to find their purpose in life in New York.
