JA Fair student reported missing

Police are looking for an 18-year-old student at JA Fair High School who was reported to be having "suicidal thoughts" before she disappeared.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, Trakia Patton's mother reported her missing Thursday. She was last seen Saturday.

Police say a counselor reported Patton had been having suicidal thoughts and mentioned wanting to jump off of a river bridge to kill herself.

The report says Patton is about to graduate from high school and may have been upset about bad grades, though school records show she is doing well academically.

Patton is described as black woman about 5-foot-1 and 130 pounds with short, black hair and brown eyes.

Those with information about Patton's whereabouts are asked to contact Det. Richard Kindervater at (501) 371-4737 or a violent crimes detective at (501) 371-4660.
