Callie Blair France and Jaison Michael Sterling were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the Marriott hotel. The Rev. Miles Cook officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Natalie and Allen Shane Adkins of Talbott, Tenn., and the late Vincent Thomas France. Her grandparents are Sharon and Charles Ledrick of North Little Rock, Jerry and the late Linda Hogan of Jonesboro and Dawn and Tommy France of Maumelle.

Parents of the groom are Martha and Michael Sterling of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of Virginia and the late Othar Sterling, the late Elza Bell and the late Edna Bell, all also of North Little Rock.

The ceremony site held arrangements of lilies, roses and hydrangeas. Music was by pianist Tommy France and violinist Eric Hayward.

Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride wore an alabaster-colored gown with a fitted sweetheart bodice embellished with beading.She carried a bouquet of purple calla lilies and peacock feathers decorated with a butterfly brooch from her great-grandmother, Vera Carson.

Serving as maid of honor was Krystal Gillespie of Richmond, Va. Bridesmaids were Madison Adkins of Talbott, sister of the bride; Hannah Richards of Auburn, Ala.; Abbey Jensen and Erica Vandriver, both of Little Rock; Lacey West of North Little Rock; Ashton Cothren of Conway; Kelsey Johnston of Jacksonville; Jenny Haisty of Russellville; and Tara Anglin of El Dorado. They wore teal knee-length dresses and carried bouquets of white calla lilies and peacock feathers.

Flower girl was Abi Velazquez of Sherwood. Ring bearers were Aiden and Ashton Price of Conway.

David Miles Cook of North Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Sutherland and Dylan Massey, both of Conway; Kyle Lusinger of White Hall; Jeff Hatfield of Maumelle; Chase Watson of Little Rock; and Clay Hudspeth of Heber Springs. Guests were seated by Daniel Dring and Dustin Terry, both of Sherwood, and Scott Hogan, also of North Little Rock.

A reception at the hotel followed the ceremony. Tables were decorated with vases of feathers, roses and lilies.

The bride is a student at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway studying broadcast journalism. She is treasurer of the Alpha Sigma Tau executive board and Scroll yearbook editor. She was named UCA Mass Communication Journalism Student of the Year. She is co-owner of Sterling Imageworks Photography and Film and manager of Advanced SunSystems Tanning Salon.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in digital film making from UCA. He was on the dean’s list, Scroll yearbook photo editor and was named Alpha Sigma Tau Anchorman. He is co-owner of Sterling Imageworks Photography and Film.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Conway.
