Authorities said a Magnolia man died early Saturday following a car wreck in Columbia County.
The accident occurred about 1:10 a.m., according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report.
Police said Justin Watson, 22, was traveling north on Arkansas 19 in a 1995 Chevy Caprice when the vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree. A coroner pronounced Watson dead at 1:55 a.m. at the scene.
It was not immediately clear what caused Watson's vehicle to veer off of the road. Police describe conditions as clear and dry at the time.
Watson's death marks the 394th fatality in traffic accidents on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary reports.
