— Arkansas hung around for a while, but the Razorbacks couldn't do enough to avoid a dubious school record Saturday.

Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace passed for 407 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Rebels beat Arkansas 34-24 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The loss was the Razorbacks' seventh straight, tying a school record.

Wallace connected on touchdown passes of 75 and 52 yards in the third quarter after Arkansas moved the ball into Ole Miss territory with a chance to tie the game or take the lead. The Razorbacks pulled within 20-17 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Kiero Small earlier in the third quarter, but could get no closer.

Arkansas (3-7, 0-6 SEC) stayed close for longer than any other conference game this season, but still lost by double-digits for the sixth time. The Razorbacks have lost 10 straight SEC games dating to last season and 13 of their last 15.

The teams exchanged field goals early in the first quarter before the Rebels took the lead for good. Barry Brunetti's 1-yard touchdown run gave Ole Miss a 10-3 lead with 1:28 left in the first quarter.

The Rebels added a field goal after failing to score three times from the Arkansas 1 early in the second quarter, but the Razorbacks pulled within 13-10 on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Allen to Hunter Henry with 2:43 remaining before halftime.

The score was set up by a solid run game. Korliss Marshall ran for 30 yards, Alex Collins 13 yards and Jonathan Williams 17 yards on the drive. Arkansas finished the game with 196 rushing yards.

Ole Miss (6-3, 3-3) added a late first half touchdown when Wallace threw 14 yards to Laquon Treadwell with 45 seconds left before halftime. The Rebels led 20-10 at the intermission.

Trailing 20-17, Arkansas moved into Ole Miss territory after a 31-yard punt return by Javontee Herndon midway through the third quarter. But the Rebels sniffed out a halfback pass call, tackling Williams for a loss of 9 yards.

Ole Miss scored in consecutive drives after the defensive stop, including a 94-yard touchdown drive in five plays, capped by the 75-yard touchdown pass from Wallace to James.

Arkansas added a touchdown late in the fourth quarter when Julian Horton caught a 20-yard pass from Allen to cap a 13-play, 87-yard drive. Zach Hocker missed a 58-yard field goal with under a minute remaining to end the Razorbacks' comeback attempt, however.

Hocker scored the first points of the game when he made a 51-yard field goal in the first quarter. He is 4-for-6 on attempts of 50 or more yards in his career and has made 10 of his 12 field goal attempts this season.

The Razorbacks tied the 1990 and 1952-53 teams with seven consecutive losses. Arkansas has next weekend off and won't play again until a Nov. 23 game against Mississippi State in Little Rock.
