1st QuarterOLE MISS 10, ARKANSAS 3

Jonathan Williams ran 13 yards and Julian Horton caught a 25-yard pass to set up Zach Hocker’s 51-yard field goal on Arkansas’ first possession. Jaylen Walton returned the kick to the Hogs’ 48. Two tackles for loss, including DeMarcus Hodge’s 10-yard sack, forced Ole Miss to settle for a field goal. The Rebels pieced together a 12-play touchdown drive, during which Brooks Ellis dropped a potential interception. Keon Hatcher caught a 22-yard pass to the Arkansas 47, but Alex Collins’ 21-yard run on the next snap was negated by Dan Skipper’s holding penalty.

2nd QuarterOLE MISS 20, ARKANSAS 10

Sam Irwin-Hill’s 58-yard left-footed rugby punt rolled to the Rebels’ 5.

But Ole Miss drove 93 yards before Arkansas stiffened at the 1, with tackles by Brooks Ellis and Trey Flowers forcing a chip-shot field goal. A sack by Jarrett Lake and Chris Smith snuffed an Ole Miss drive. Korliss Marshall, Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams had runs of 30, 13 and 17 yards, respectively, on an 80-yard drive capped by Hunter Henry’s 17-yard touchdown catch from Brandon Allen.

Jeremy Sprinkle’s dead-ball personal foul triggered the Rebels’ two-minute drive, with Bo Wallace passing to Laquon Treadwell for a 14-yard touchdown.

3rd QuarterOLE MISS 34, ARKANSAS 17

Bo Wallace’s pass on third-and-17 was intercepted by Alan Turner. The Hogs cashed in with a 46-yard drive, sparked by Javontee Herndon’s 31-yard catch to the 1 and Kiero Small’s touchdown run. Ole Miss fell on a Bo Wallace fumble at the Rebs’ 29.

Arkansas had the ball with a shot to take the lead. But after reaching the Ole Miss 39, a halfback pass call lost 9 yards. The Rebels hit big passes for touchdowns covering 75 and 52 yards, the second on a missed tackle by Tevin Mitchel. Arkansas drove 20 yards to its 45 as the quarter ended.

4th QuarterOLE MISS 34, ARKANSAS 24

Arkansas drove to the Ole Miss 35, then Brandon Allen’s deep throw was intercepted by Senquez Golson, whose fumble in the end zone was recovered by the Rebels. The Hogs drove 87 yards with a good play-call mix, scoring on Allen’s 20-yard pass to Julian Horton. Ole Miss drove to the Hogs 32, where Bo Wallace’s fourthdown pass was intercepted by Eric Bennett. He returned the pick to about the Ole Miss 21, but the return was negated by a block-in-the-back penalty. Arkansas worked to the Ole Miss 41, but Zach Hocker’s 58-yard field-goal try was wide right.
