By the Bog of Cats

ARKADELPHIA — Ouachita Baptist University’s Department of Theatre Arts will present By the Bog of Cats at 2:30 p.m. today and at 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Ouachita’s Verser Theatre. Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased at Ouachita students get one free ticket with their current OBU identification.

Holiday Closing

BENTON/BRYANT — The Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant and the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day. Both libraries will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday. For more information, call (501) 778-4766.

Cajun Dance Lessons

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Learn beginners Cajun dancing with Don and Marian McLaurin at 6:30 p.m. in Room 6 of the Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Lane. The McLaurins are experienced Cajun dancers from Shreveport, La. This is a two-week class. The cost is $2 per member and $4 per lesson for guests. Ladies Night Out Cancellation

ARKADELPHIA — The Tri-Lakes Edition Ladies Night Out scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation Center has been canceled.

Reddie for Henderson Day

ARKADELPHIA — All high school seniors are invited to participate in Reddie for Henderson Day beginning at 9 a.m. in front of Wells Athletic Center on M.H. Russell Drive. This campus preview day will give seniors an opportunity to meet current students, tour the campus, visit with academic departments and receive information on admissions, financial aid, housing opportunities and nonacademic organizations. The Swing Era Concert

HOT SPRINGS — The Hot Springs Jazz Society and the Garland County Library will present a concert titled The Swing Era, featuring Ron McHone on clarinet and saxophone, at 6 p.m. in the library’s auditorium. Website in a Day Seminar

ARKADELPHIA — The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Henderson State University will present a seminar titled Website in a Day from 5:15-9:15 p.m. at HSU’s Caplinger Airway Science Center, Room 127. Website in a Day is a hands-on workshop in which business owners in need of a website will be taken step by step through the creation of a free, attractive, functional, five-page website. Reindeer Run for Reading

BRYANT — Imagination Library of Saline County will present

the 2013 Reindeer Run for Reading at 9 a.m. at Bishop Park in Bryant. There will be a 5K race and a family 1K run.
