The robbery happened about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Asher One Stop, 2608 S. Maple St.

Police said the two men were holding up the clerk behind the counter when a second clerk, who was armed with a handgun, emerged from the restroom.

The second clerk called out to the robbers and then fired one shot. The two men quickly fled, and the gunman then tripped and fell on a pair of parking poles in the parking lot, the video shows.

Authorities have not made any arrests.

The would-be robbers are described as black men between 18 and 22 who stood about 5 foot 11. One wore a black hat with a red bandanna, black shirt and black pants, and the other wore a red jacket and bluejeans.
