Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Conway bank Monday morning.

Conway Police Department spokesman LaTresha Woodruff said the robber walked into the Arkansas Federal Credit Union, located at 220 Skyline Drive, around 10:30 a.m., displayed a note to a bank teller and demanded money at gunpoint.

The teller complied, Woodruff said, and the robber fled the bank with an unknown amount of cash. The robber then got into an 80s-model, gold Chevrolet Caprice and drove off in an unknown direction. Woodruff said at this point it looks as if the man acted alone in the robbery.

The robber is described as black, in his 40s with a stocky build and a gold tooth. At the time of the robbery, Woodruff said, he was described as wearing a Miami Heat baseball cap, a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and an earring in his right ear.
