Arkansas Weekend: Ducks in a row

By The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

This article was published November 27, 2013 at 10:56 a.m.

Turkey isn’t the only feathered, flying thing that’s popular this weekend, according to the Weekend Ten, found in Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.

It’s time to celebrate the duck at the annual Wings Over the Prairie Festival in Stuttgart, with a carnival, duck calling classes and contests, fairs, shows and exhibits, the Great 5K/10K Duck Race, the World Championship Duck Gumbo Cook-off and the World Championship Duck Calling Contest.

Get all the details on that, as well as a fall hayride and campfire at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, Petit Jean Mountain's Mountain Rendezvous and DeGray Lake Resort State Park's Thanksgiving Getaway, in tomorrow's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
