Where I live: I live in the Chenal Ridge neighborhood of west Little Rock with five Shih Tzu dogs named Harry Winston, Savannah Bell, Jules, Olivia Lee and Andrew. I also have a rescued cat named Willow Grace, who thinks she owns the place.
Occupation: I am the owner of Powder & Smoke in the Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year.
My favorite space: My favorite room is my dining room. I love to entertain in this room, whether it’s a formal dinner or just hors d’oeuvres. I collect antique Limoges china and antique crystal. I also collect antique and hotel silver. I think silver is such a Southern thing, and it pains me that so many people no longer want it due to the maintenance of it. I found my dining table at the market in Dallas about 20 years ago. The tabletop is gold leaf and the double pedestals are silver leaf. I have never seen another table like it. The centerpiece of the table is a crystal bowl by Faberge that is a limited, signed edition. I enjoy the view from the dining room windows as well - especially in the fall. It overlooks a mountain, and the color of the trees this time of year is incredible.
If I could change one thing to improve this space, I would: like some antique art to go above the buffet.
