Little Rock police are searching for a man who purportedly stole another man's phone after he thought the victim had taken his picture early Monday morning.
The robbery occurred at 2:51 a.m. at 4712 W. 16th St. in Little Rock, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
The home's owner, David Flowers, 44, told officers he was having a "social get-together" with Little Rock resident Courtney Johnson and some friends, the report states. Flowers told officers that Johnson became upset after he thought he noticed Flowers taking pictures of Johnson with his cell phone, the report states.
According to the report, Johnson punched Flowers in the face and put his hands around Flowers' throat and started to choke him. Flowers said Johnson then grabbed his black Motorola Horizon cellphone and said, "If you call the police, I will kill you."
Johnson left Flowers' home in an unknown black SUV, the report states. Officers said they didn't see any physical signs of injury on Flowers, according to the report.
