A man who purported to be selling an iPhone actually robbed the would-be buyers at gunpoint Thursday.
It happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. at 9400 Stagecoach Road, where the two victims, ages 25 and 26, had agreed to meet the man to buy the phone.
Upon arrival, the robber got in the backseat of the victims' Toyota RAV4 but then pulled out a handgun and demanded money and phones from both men, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
He took $900 from one man and a wallet and iPhone 5 from the other victim, police said.
The robber is described as a black man who stood 5-foot-7 with a slender build and shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a white shirt, gray "night pants" and had a black mesh backpack, the report said.
No arrest has been made, but police say they were able to obtain prints from the car door as well as an iPhone box the robber dropped as he ran off.
Police say several people in the area reported the same man has been "robbing foreigners for the past several months," the report said.
