A driver was killed Wednesday when his vehicle was hit by an oncoming truck, authorities said.
Arkansas State Police say 87-year-old Harold C. Bomar was driving a 1998 Nissan Frontier when he pulled out of a private drive on Arkansas 36 in White County and into the path of a 1999 Dodge truck.
Bomar was airlifted to St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, where he died.
The other driver, 48-year-old Roel Salinas, wasn't injured.
The death was the 358th fatality in a traffic accident in Arkansas so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
