Dark and creepy: It’s spooky time as the Little Rock Zoo hosts its annual Boo at the Zoo Halloween celebration, 6-9 p.m. Oct. 18-20 and 25-31. An Adults Only night kicks things off Oct. 17, $25. In addition to the usual trick-or-treating, rides, games, music and a haunted house, this year features a new hay ride and an enchanted forest. On Nov. 1, the zoo will honor Dia de los Muertos with Hispanic dancers and food vendors along with the other Boo activities. Advance tickets are $8, $18 for (all-inclusive) wristband admission. Prices are $2 more at the gate. Call (501) 666-2406 or visit littlerockzoo.com/boo.
Bright and glitzy: The Statehouse Convention Center is consumed by Christmas glitz at the CARTI Auxiliary Festival of Trees, Nov. 6-9.
