A Pulaski County man is accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend and then using tape to bind her to a chair.
Bradley Bunch, 29, was arrested Wednesday night on charges of first-degree false imprisonment and first-degree terroristic threatening. He remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.
The 30-year-old victim, who lives with Bunch in a residence in the 1100 block of West Arkansas 89 outside Cabot, told authorities it started when Bunch arrived home from work and started "talking crazy," according to a Pulaski County Sheriff's Office report.
"[The victim] stated that Bunch told her she was going to die and he was going to bury her in a hole after he dug it with a backhoe," deputy Jeffrey King wrote in the report. "[The victim] stated that Bunch taped her hands together and then taped her feet to a chair."
Bunch later left the residence to return to work, at which point the victim was able to break free and run to a neighboring home for help, the report said.
Bunch was arrested when he arrived back home while police were.
