Little Rock woman killed in Stagecoach Road wreck

A Little Rock woman was killed Thursday after the truck she was driving overturned on Stagecoach Road, the Arkansas State Police have said.

Janice Alexander, 34, of Little Rock was heading west in the 7500 block of Stagecoach about 6:42 p.m. Thursday when she lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road, according to a preliminary accident report. The 1991 GMC Sierra truck she was driving overturned, killing her and injuring her passenger, Walter Hill, 72, of Little Rock.

Hill was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock; his condition wasn't immediately available.

The road was dry and conditions were clear at the time of the accident, according to the report.

Alexander was the 359th person to die in an accident on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to state police figures.
