Stacy Holly, 39, and LaToya Barton, 22, were getting out of the car about 5 a.m. Saturday in the 4700 block of Manchester Drive after a date when four black men got out of a black, mid-sized sedan, produced at least two handguns and demanded their money, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
Holly and Barton gave the robbers a total of $180, but the robbers said, "I know you have more than that," according to the report. When Holly and Barton couldn't hand over more money, the assailants started hitting them in the head with the guns and then, realizing the pair had no more money, fled in their car, police said.
Holly had multiple head wounds and an apparent broken nose, and Barton had a wound on the right side of her head, and both were being treated at a hospital, the report states.
The suspects were described as black males between 15 and 25 years old. One had a light build, a medium complexion and a short, black afro and was wearing a blue hat and bluejeans, according to the report. Another had a dark complexion and long, braided black hair and was wearing a black shirt and a red scarf, authorities said. The other two weren't described further.
Police think the robbery may be related to others in that area because of the similarities in the descriptions of the robbers and vehicle.
