A Hot Springs woman was robbed Saturday night while in Little Rock to attend the State Fair.
Krishay Smith, 20, told police she was at the fair with her boyfriend and child when she and her boyfriend got into a fight, and she became separated from them, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
Smith was walking around Roosevelt Road and Marshall Street about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when she was confronted by a man who drove up to her in a white 1990 Chevrolet Caprice with tinted windows and, demanding Smith get into the car, stepped out of the driver's side, according to the report.
Smith ignored him and kept walking, but he pointed a black subcompact semiautomatic pistol at her and demanded money, police said. Since Smith had no money, she gave the man her black and white Levi's shoes, according to the report.
The robber left west on Roosevelt Road, the report states. Detectives working the fair saw a vehicle fitting the Caprice's description, stopped it but determined it didn't belong to the robber, police said. He was described as medium-complected black man, about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, with short, straight hair.
No arrests have been made.
