A single-engine prop plane crashed onto a county road in Hector, an Arkansas Department of Emergency Management official said.
Shortly before 5 p.m. Monday, the department received a report from a local coordinator who said that a plane, which was carrying four people, had crashed at the 1000 block of Cannady Flat Road in Pope County, ADEM spokesman Brandon Morris said.
The plane knocked down an unspecified number of power lines, causing a power outage at an unspecified number of homes, Morris said. Entergy officials have responded to the scene and are working to restore power to the area.
Morris said no injuries have been reported and that it was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
