A Little Rock man was assaulted Wednesday afternoon by three teens who then took his scooter, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.
The 48-year-old victim told police that he was riding a blue JCL 150cc scooter south on Peyton Street near the 4300 block of West 13th Street shortly before 5 p.m. when three black males, all described as being between ages 12 and 16, "blocked him in," the report states.
One teen tried to steal the man's keys, but the victim quickly recovered them, police said. Another teen then told the man he had a gun before he punched him in the mouth, which knocked the man to the ground, according to the report.
The report states that all three teens fled on the scooter; however, police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said that, while it's possible, it wasn't clear whether all three were riding the scooter when they fled.
Officers were not able to find the scooter, and Davis said no suspects have been developed at this time.
