Saline County authorities have apprehended three suspects after a resident reported seeing two men in his home early Friday morning.
Saline County sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Rushing Road about 3:40 a.m. after a male resident reported that he awoke to find two men attempting to steal items from his home, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
The resident said the men fled in separate vehicles, one of which belonged to him, police said. It was later determined that the other vehicle had been stolen in Pulaski County, according to the statement.
Deputies found and recovered both vehicles after a brief pursuit. Three people fled the vehicles on foot, but only two were captured, police said.
Amy White, 30, of North Little Rock and Ricky Andrade, 34, of Little Rock were taken to the Saline County jail for questioning. They had not been charged as of 11:30 a.m.
The third suspect, who police identified as 27-year-old Daniel Gibson of Russellville, was taken into custody Friday afternoon.
Correction: The original story incorrectly identified the second suspect in custody as 45-year-old Bobby Morton of Little Rock. The Saline County sheriff's office issued a correction stating Morton is a witness, not a suspect. The correction has been made in the story above.
