Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church was the setting at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, for the marriage of Constance Renee Williams and Brandon Dorel Campbell. The Rev. Kaderick Jones of New Perspective Christian Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila Williams-Bland of Sherwood and Christopher Williams of North Little Rock. Her grandparents are Christine and John Cranford of Little Rock and Fredonia and the late Andrew Williams, also of Sherwood.
Parents of the groom are Brenda Johnson of Little Rock and Don Campbell of Mabelvale. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Montgomery, also of Little Rock, and the late Corinthians Johnson of Dumas.
The chancel was decorated with columns and arrangements of roses and hydrangeas in tall copper vases. Music was by pianist and vocalist Lawrence Cheatham and vocalist Tracye Goodwin.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown embellished with beading and sequins on the asymmetrically pleated bodice and the cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses lined with black feathers.
Tiffany Bryant of Jacksonville served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Cornethea Esaw, Latoya Esaw and Tanya Esaw, all of Little Rock and sisters of the groom, and Amber Williams and Kaitlyn Williams, both of North Little Rock, and Candice Williams of Fairfield, Calif., sisters of the bride. They wore one-shoulder gowns of black satin with beading on the shoulder and carried bouquets of ivory and deep orange roses and black feathers.
Flower girl and ring bearers were Tanaia Esaw of Little Rock, niece of the groom; Elijah Bryant of Jacksonville, nephew of the bride, and Nicholas Williams of North Little Rock, brother of the bride.
Serving as the groom’s honor attendant was Christopher Young of Dallas, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Robert Blacksher of Detroit, Antonio Johnson of Nashville, Tenn., and Deston Tensley of Spokane, Wash., cousins of the groom; and Don Campbell Jr., brother of the groom; and Adrian Hayes Jr., nephew of the groom, both of Little Rock. Guests were seated by MarkGreen Jr. and Monterro Lewis, both also of Little Rock and nephews of the groom.
A reception was held at the Robinson Center. Tables covered with black cloths and ivory runners were centered with beaded copper chargers holding rose petals and tall glass vases filled with crystals, water and floating candles.
The bride graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she was a member of Delta Sigma Theta, and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a member of Pi Theta Epsilon. She is an occupational therapist for Genesis Rehab Services.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa where he was a recipient of a Student Services Leadership Award, a Keith Benson/Sam Goody Entertainment Scholar, Edward M. Moldt Entrepreneurial Scholar and a recipient of the American Society Newspaper Editors Fellowship and International Radio Television Society Fellowship. He is founder and chief executive officer of Little Rock Fashion Week and Oneofakind Talent Inc.
The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
