Stacy Leanne Del Giorno and Christopher John Howard were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Trapnall Hall. Officiating was the Rev. Andrea Allen of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, assisted by Brandon Bates of St. James United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Sonia and John Leszczyna of North Little Rock and Denise and Gabriel Del Giorno of DeValls Bluff. Her grandparents are Rosemary and the late Gabriel Del Giorno of DeValls Bluff, the late Geneva Miller and John Harvey of Little Rock and the late Elizabeth and John Leszczyna of North Little Rock.
Rebecca and John Howard of Mountain Home are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Geraldine Howard-Marth, the late Neal Marth and the late Duane Howard, all of Mountain Home, and the late Dorothy and Robert Buford of Hot Springs.
Vows were exchanged on the front porch steps, which were decorated with pumpkins, gourds and potted purple chrysanthemums. The front doors were decorated with wreaths of wedding flowers and green apples. Music was by guitarist Ryan Howell of Conway.
Given in marriage by her father and stepfather, the bride wore an ivory strapless A-line gown of organza. The sweetheart bodice was embellished with beaded lace and Swarovski crystals, and the layered organza skirt extended from an asymmetrical waistline to a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of lavender and ivory roses, purple and green hydrangeas, purple status and cascading amaranthus.
Serving as maid of honor was Allison Pearson of Washington. Bridesmaids were Sara Camp and Lanzy Brazear, both of Little Rock; Alyssa Harwell of Fayetteville; and Meri Whitney Zieman of Hot Springs. They wore purple gowns in the style of their choice and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.
Flower girls were Maycen and Alyssa Eads of Tuttle, Okla., and Mallory Byrd of Sherwood, cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Jackson Byrd, also of Sherwood and cousin of the bride.
Jeremy Wilson of Springdale was best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Flynn of Sherwood; Joey McDonald of Conway; Bobby Howard of Fayetteville; and Zach Barnes of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Preston Patterson of Dallas and Blake Jacobs of Rogers.
A reception at Next Level Events followed the ceremony. Tables were decorated with glass cylinders filled with green apples and topped with either floating candles or wedding flowers, and candles in hurricane glass accented with green and purple moss, miniature pumpkins and pine cones.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in language pathology and a master’s degree in communication science and disorders from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She is a speech-language pathologist with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Kids First in Lowell.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from UCA and is a project coordinator with Wachter Inc. in Lowell.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will live in Springdale.
