A Little Rock woman is accused of shooting a man in the leg Sunday afternoon.
Latoya Jordan, 31, was arrested shortly after 2:30 p.m. on a charge of first-degree domestic battery.
The victim, identified as Calvin Ivory, was said to suffer a non-life-threatening injury.
According to an arrest report, Jordan was taken into custody at 20 Trent Drive. She then reportedly told officers the shooting had been in self-defense.
Police say Jordan also reported throwing the gun somewhere on Schiller Street, though the weapon was not located.
Jordan remained in the Pulaski County jail Monday morning with bail not yet set.
