Shell station robbed at gunpoint in Little Rock

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a gas station in Little Rock at gunpoint Tuesday night.

It happened shortly after 9:15 p.m. at the Shell station at 10100 N. Rodney Parham Road, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The clerk told investigators a man walked into the business, pointed a silver handgun at him and demanded cash from the register.

After getting the money, the robber left on foot, police said.

Police searched the area — including a nearby apartment complex where a man matching the robber's description was spotted — but didn't make an arrest.

The robber is described as a black man who stood 5-foot-11 and weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black beanie hat, black pants and red or orange shoes.
