Two men escaped with cash after robbing a Little Rock gas station at gunpoint late Wednesday night, authorities said.
It happened about 9:40 p.m. at the Mapco Mart at 5420 W. 12th St.
An employee told investigators that two men entered the business and then pulled handguns on her and another clerk.
At one point, one of the men "slammed his gun down on the counter and asked her in an angry voice, 'Do you want to die?'" police wrote in a report. "[The clerk] stated she replied, 'Nah, man' and put in the passcode to the register and opened it."
The two robbers grabbed cash from the register and then ran north on Fair Park Boulevard, police said.
The robbers are described as black men who stood 5 foot 3 and weighed about 130 pounds. One wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark bluejeans and a black face mask with white teeth printed on it. The other wore a red hooded sweatshirt, dark bluejeans and dark sunglasses.
