LR police hunting gas-station robber
Little Rock police are searching for a man who they say robbed a gas station Tuesday.
About 9:20 p.m., officers were called to the Shell gas station at 10100 N. Rodney Parham Road regarding a robbery. The robber, armed with a handgun, pointed the weapon at an employee and demanded money, police said. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the gunman ran from the store, police said.
A passer-by spotted a man matching the gunman’s description at the Sturbridge Apartments at 1400 Old Forge Road, but officers didn’t find him, police said.
The gunman is described as black, 5-foot-11 and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, a black hooded sweatshirt, a white undershirt, black pants, and red or orange shoes.
The robbery is the store’s third in three months.
