11 more charged, meth seized, in Operation West End Gambler

Eleven people have been charged with offenses connected to drug trafficking and 20 pounds of methamphetamine seized in Operation West End Gambler, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge. Authorities have also seized more than $60,000 in cash.

On Oct. 21, authorities served search warrants on three residences and a storage unit in Siloam Springs. The search turned up $18,845 in cash, two guns and about six pounds of meth, according to the news release. Seven people were arrested and face federal charges, and another four face state charges.

The operation began in 2012 when Arturo Vaca-Raya was found with 15 pounds of meth and arrested, according to the news release. The investigation in the meth distribution operation continued, resulting in this week's arrests, according to the news release.
