Fifth suspect sought in Benton armed robberies

Benton police are searching for a fifth person believed to be involved in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred early Sunday morning.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Justin Ray, 19, in relation to an armed robbery Sunday at Fountain Lake Apartments in Benton, according to a news release from the Benton Police Department.

Four other suspects, who investigators believe may be members of an organized gang, were arrested earlier this week in relation to that robbery and other recent robberies in the Benton area.

Ray faces charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated residential burglary, false imprisonment, theft of property, interference with emergency communications and two counts of fleeing, police said.

The release states that he's believed to be in the central Arkansas area. Anyone with information about Ray's whereabouts is asked to call the Benton Police Department at (501) 778-1171.
