A fire heavily damaged a house in Little Rock late Friday morning, officials said.

Little Rock Fire Department Capt. Randy Hickmon said crews were called to 425 W. 32nd St. about 10:45 a.m. Most of the back of the house was on fire when they arrived, he said.

By 11:30 a.m., crews were still on scene dousing parts of the structure in water. Light smoke rose from the attic and the rear half of the home was heavily damaged with the walls and much of the roof burned through.

Hickmon said the home may be a total loss, though that determination hasn't yet been made.

No injuries were reported.

The resident had left the home a short time before fire crews were called, Hickmon said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
