Man shot in head dies after 3 days

A Little Rock man died Wednesday, three days after he was shot, Little Rock police said.

Chadrick Clemens, 21, died of his injuries after he was shot in the head Sunday, police said.

About 11:20 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 2805 S. Summit St. on a shooting. Officers found Clemens lying face up on the ground in front of the home, according to a police report.

Another man held up Clemens’ head when officers arrived, police said. Clemens was taken to UAMS Medical Center where he initially was listed in critical condition, police said.

The Pulaski County coroner’s office called detectives about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to notify them of the death. Clemens’ body was taken to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.

No one has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.
