A Jonesboro man died early Friday after a head-on collision in Craighead County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality crash report.
About 12:10 a.m. Friday, Tom McAdams, 33, was driving a Jeep north on Arkansas 1 near Craighead County Road406 when he crossed the center line and ran into a southbound 2007 International tractor-trailer, state police said.
McAdams died of his injuries, and tractor-trailer driver Vernon Houston, 60, of Harrisburg was taken to St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, state police said.
