LR woman robbed of purse while walking home

Little Rock authorities are looking for a man who purportedly robbed a woman while she was walking home on Sunday night.

The robbery happened about 7:30 p.m. at 3 Olympia Court, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Little Rock resident Gynesis Allen, 23, told officers that she was walking home when an unidentified black male wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt with an 'O' on it approached her, the report states.

Allen said the robber told her to give him her leopard-print leather purse, wrapped his arm around her neck and pointed an unidentified object at her with his other hand. Allen tried to run away, but the robber jerked Allen's purse away and ran off, according to the report.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, authorities said. The robber is described as standing 5-foot-9 and possibly having two gold teeth.
